Apathy is dooming this nation

I was recently blocked temporarily from a community group because I wrongly assumed they might actually care about the future of their own community.
Due to U.S. Dept. of Education policies, in association with the WI education department (DPI), the schools across the state, and country, are producing a future generation of employees that is overall pathetic.
The most recent data from DPI shows the state proficiencies for English (ELA) and Mathematics are at 37.7% and 26.9% respectively and Northland Pines has paralleled the state averages for years.
Since DPI won’t reveal the scores of history and civics to the public I had to go to NAEP (National Assessment of Educational Progress, U.S. Dept. of Education) to get their numbers, which is based on the data from all states. History is at 18% and Civics comes in at 20%.
Given the above numbers and the deplorable state of religion in this nation, the United States of America is doomed.
John Adams, one of the founders who gave us the Declaration and Constitution, famously said, “Our Constitution was made for a religious and moral people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”
Our current circumstances are proving him correct.
