B4 I home schooled my now 43 year old... the public school system had destroyed her will to LEARN.... HOME SCHOOLING BROUGHT IT BACK
We homeschool and it’s been great! Teaches value, soft skills like critical thinking and problem solving, and family unity. The socialization part that is highly critiqued with homeschooling, my kids get with sports and church.
To prepare them for life, not just standardized tests!
We can put emphasis on the things we feel are important, like faith, family values, and taking care of Mother Earth.
My 1st 4th and 7th grader have a much better understanding of why/how our government was founded than some adults do now days! I’m raising my kids to be strong leaders, instead of followers of the system!
To be able to properly direct the education content and to provide better opportunities for your students.
Keep them safe. Teach them valuable lessons, useful lessons.
Help set their roots deep in faith, knowledge, wisdom, and relationship with the most important people in their lives, family - so they are not blown away by the winds of culture.
It’s the greatest gift you could ever give them as a parent. Provide them with the gift of an education that doesn’t present conflicting worldviews from your home’s values. You don’t want to be in competition for your children’s minds, hearts, and souls through their most formative years.
We give the fanatics too much air !
The world today
No one cares more than the parents about the quality of their child's education. When you are the teacher, you know exactly what they are being taught, how well they are learning it, and how to make the right changes if they aren't. I have never regretted homeschooling mine.
So they will have a advantage over public school kids and they will be able to read and write
The wonderful ability to travel and meet so many different people of different ages and backgrounds.
There are many ways to learn. Being institutionalized is not the only way. We are lucky my wife has a flexible job and we plan to homeschool.
Teach them values
Flexibility is huge for us. We have control over what they learn and how. Not feeling social pressures that you would in public school. Seeing your kids grow and learn new things is so exciting, especially in their walk with their faith. Also, no more hours of homework after they spent a day at school.
If you live in America
Wokeness
Freedom. Doing life alongside them. Unlimited snuggles.
That’s just a few reasons. I could write a book with all of our reasons.
I think it would be easier to list the reasons why you shouldn’t homeschool.
Public School !
Because the schools aren't providing the education necessary for future success
Public education.
Corruption in the government which controls the school system in some areas,
Every. Single. Reason. This week I got revenge by making the biggest glitter covered monstrosity of a valentines box for both my grade school kids. SOOO much glitter went into these boxes. And we didn't seal the glitter so they shall leave a nice long trail. Should've been nicer to my kids now you will remember them for 17 years while you find that hidden glitter.
Public education is reason enough! 1. Protects your child from going into their harvest field of public schools and incidentally fulfilling the great commission. 2. Relieves parents of tedious evangelistic mentorship of their children to spread the gospel to children their age. 3. Parents can more easily feel self righteous and wise, like they are the ones who are sovereign and protecting their children, not God. 4. Adequately prevents us from sending our children out into the world like lambs among wolves, just like Jesus foolishly did the disciples. Whew. Wouldn’t want that type of carelessness.
To get an education not laced with corruption
EVERYTHING! The public school system is defunct!
The Government.
Education...
To save our country.
Public education
Content control
So they don’t pretend to be a different gender.
Been to town lately?
